Super Moon, Cinco De Mayo, & NEWS!!!

Oh Friday...Thank you for finally arriving! I missed you so much! This week was long...ever so long...but Cinco De Mayo is going to bring yummy burritos & tons of Sangria! Woohoo!! Can't Wait! What is also really cool is that Saturday is going to be what scientists are calling  a Super Moon! If you look for the moon on the horizon right as the sun is setting and the moon is peeking forward it will appear larger than the life & bright as anything! It makes me want to watch "Moonstruck" for Cosmo's Moon. hehe...Actually because it's a full Moon no wonder this week was so crazy!! =)

But the craziness will have to let me go for a week in June because.....

I"M GOING TO MEXICO!!! Cj & I finally booked our vacation!! We are staying at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba All-Inclusive! I've never been there so I'm like totally excited. This is just what we needed...

A Future Purchase that Must Be Made...

I have fought the urge long enough...I want to buy a Kitchenaid stand mixer. These beautiful & colorful mixer have been around since 1955 and finally seeing one this afternoon at Williams Sonoma I felt the pang in my chest of "I Want One". I guess my Kitchen Aid clock started ticking, hehe.

I have a mixer that used to be Mother's and I swear she's had that thing since I was a lil girl. At least 20 or so years if not more. It does the job good for my cupcake classes but it's time to breakout the new.

The price is approximately $300. That's not terrible, but when your watching ever penny to save money it's going to be a mini feat because you can't just buy the mixer...there are attachments.I would love the pasta making one and the ice cream one.

Well, I'm definitely going to be watching the store circulars and watching the online overstock shops. If I don't get one now, this maybe my "Day after Thanksgiving" splurge piece. Ooo if I buy it at Kohl's on a weekend where there is a 30% coupon AND Extra-Bucks for every $50 spent, buying the mixer at $300 wouldn't be that bad. Hmmm...decisions decisions.. =)

Blossom in Old Navy?? Joey in Old Navy?? WHOA!!

Every girl born in the 80's knew that the cool girls watched the TV Classic, Blossom after school. She would dance around her room without a care in the world, have the funkiest wardrobe w/ the best hats, and had a really hot older brother named Joey who just happened to every chance he get say WHOA in that special way. I grew up watching that show EVERY chance I got. I think I even named one of my dolls, Six, after her best friend. She ruled...

Fast forward 15 years, my boyfriend CJ one day reminded me of my serious addiction to this show by pointing out someone's love interest on a current TV Show I wasn't exactly caught up on. Big Bang Theory & Amy Farrah Fowler. Yup! That's Blossom all grown up! What is even cooler about her is that I found out in real life that she has her PHD in Neuroscience. She was very motivating to be yourself and nobody else in Blossom but now she has a PHD?? That is so cool and I think she is still someone to look up to even as someone in your 20's. She is still acting, studying neuroscience, AND gets an Old Navy Commercial? Sign me up!

Uh-huh! You heard me right. I caught this commercial last night and was shocked at the end...WHOA!

I can't wait for the rest of today & this weekend because I have been hit w/ the Spring Cleaning Bug! Stay Tuned!
